Talent2 customers significantly influence the direction of the HRIS product – through the Product Board at a strategic level and the Talent2 User Groups, at an operational level.
Talent2 User Group
Talent2 has a strong independent local and national user group that meets regularly in all major cities and has a national annual conference. Local user groups meet for half a day every three months to discuss and share their learnings and application of the Talent2 HRIS within their organisations. The User Group is influential in the product direction of the Talent2 HRIS via the Product Board.
Product Board
The Product Board meets bi annually for two days. The Product Board consists of The President of the Talent2 User Group, a representatives of each state and international representatives Talent2 is represented by the General Manager Talent2 Works, our Chief Technology Officer and the product Development Manager.
The Product Board aims to:
Provide market input in relation to the business and technical requirements of a Human Resource Management Information System.
Determine product development schedules in terms of prioritising the general focus of new releases.
Determine product development schedules in terms of prioritising the general focus of new Version releases.
Analyse and consider matters that customers and staff suggest as enhancements and modifications to the product.
Estimate the effort involved in achieving such enhancements and modifications to the product.
Prioritise these enhancements and modifications to the product.
Recommend the inclusion of custom software into core product.
Client contributions to the Talent2 HRIS are not only invaluable; they produce a better outcome for the business. After all, each client knows better than anyone else what is good for the business and how it can be improved. In turn, that knowledge and input becomes a valuable source of information for Talent2 and the future direction of our HRIS Enterprise solutions.
